As a Fans & Compressors Product Designer within the Global Mechanical Systems Capability team in Bristol, you'll apply your expertise in product design to support the full engineering lifecycle, including resolving complex problems, defining system requirements, designing and integrating components, conducting technical analysis, and verifying product performance.

Responsibilities include:
* Creating and refining product system designs using Systems Engineering principles.
* Investigating and resolving technical issues, managing root cause analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders.
* Defining and managing system-level requirements and ensuring proper flow-down to components.
* Supporting design changes and technical approvals throughout the product lifecycle.
* Coordinating design and verification activities across multidisciplinary teams.
Candidate profile:
* A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Strong mechanical design skills with awareness of manufacturing, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and cost engineering.
* Analytical problem-solving approach, balancing engineering and business needs.
* Familiarity with product integrity, certification, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication skills; professional membership preferred.
