About the Company



HW Global is delighted to have been retained by a leading specialist, independent transport planning consultancy who offer a comprehensive range of services and specialise in development planning.



About the Role



Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Partner to join their Leeds office. This role will focus on delivery of transport-planning development projects to the highest standards alongside the other members of the team. This role offers the opportunity to take on a visible and high-profile position within a fast-growing, highly successful business, with genuine potential for strategic involvement in driving its development, supported by a strong leadership team.



Responsibilities



* Provide high quality technical transport and highways advice on numerous development planning projects.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of projects including setting and meeting deadlines/budgets alongside providing a high-quality outcome and ensuring that client expectations are met.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and maintain clear communication with clients throughout the process.
* Contribute to the commercial success of the business by continuously managing and developing key client relationships.
* Take responsibility for specific aspects of the day-to-day running of the Leeds office, including dealing with administrative/non-technical issues alongside technical projects.
* Leverage and expand professional network to identify and secure new business opportunities, building strong relationships and fostering long term partnerships.



Qualifications



* The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years experience in the transport planning sector and a robust understanding of transport development planning complemented by a proven track record in the successful management and delivery of projects.



Required Skills



* Sound technical skills and knowledge in the transport planning field, particularly in transport assessments, travel plans, access appraisals, highway design, modelling, expert witness etc.
* Technical knowledge and proficiency in all relevant industry software (e.g. TRICS, TEMPRO, Junctions 10).
* Experience in the successful delivery of multiple projects of varying scales and complexity, including the management and leading of project teams.
* Strong communication skills, including a strong ability to represent clients at meetings with stakeholders.
* Experience in attending public consultations and/or Inquiries.
* Experience of developing and maintaining client relationships and business contacts.
