What is the role?
The purpose of the role is to ensure all paperwork in relation to Persimmon departments and regional offices is sorted and distributed effectively and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
* General reception/switchboard duties including ensuring that the reception area is presentable and visitors are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
* Receipt and coordination of deliveries to relevant departments, ensuring that they are notified and facilitating prompt collection.
* Responsibility for allocation, booking, and coordination of meeting rooms, with good organisational skills to ensure provision of required facilities including refreshments are dealt with timely, efficiently, and seamlessly.
* Provide and perform general administration and secretarial support using your own initiative and self-motivation, including good computer literacy and excellent typing skills, ensuring work is processed confidentially, accurately, and to a high standard.
* Responsible for feedback of incoming emails through Persimmon Internet site, ensuring that queries are dealt with and replied to effectively, efficiently, and professionally.
What experience do I need?
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Previous experience within an office environment
* Computer literate with experience of various packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Ability to be well organised, self-motivated, with high attention to detail
