Field Sales Engineer Fully Remote (Midlands Territory) £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Car Allowance, Laptop, Phone, Bonus An experienced Field Sales Engineer is required to drive sales growth of custom and standard cable assembly solutions across the Midlands, working fully remotely with regular customer visits. This role blends technical understanding of cable assemblies and interconnects with relationship-building, helping OEM, industrial and technology customers specify and implement the right solutions for their applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver a territory sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets. Identify, qualify and win new business for cable assemblies, wire harnesses and related interconnect products, while growing existing accounts through regular contact, visits and technical presentations. Understand customer design requirements and translate them into feasible cable assembly solutions, advising on connectors, harness layouts, shielding, materials and assembly methods. Work closely with design engineers to support prototype builds, design validation and post‑sales technical support, including troubleshooting issues on customer sites.
