Responsibilities of a Design & Technology Teacher: Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages. Teach practical skills including resistant materials, textiles, electronics, and CAD. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and independent learning. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and promote STEM engagement. What You’ll Bring as a Design & Technology Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Design & Technology within a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise across D&T areas. Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
