Job Summary
To ensure that maximum utilisation of the workshop and customer satisfaction is achieved. To invoice Workshop Sales.
Responsibilities
To plan the forward capacity to the workshop
To canvass for and accept bookings for the workshop in order to fill available capacity
To correctly interpret customer or internal instructions and complete job cards/repair orders etc
To promote additional workshop services/repairs where applicable
Build rapport with all levels of staff and customers
To monitor all work to ensure that it is completed by the times required and to report any likely delays to the customer to seek, record and communicate authority for any extra work required or parts to be ordered or fitted.
To ensure that work done, parts and consumables used and tests carried out are accurately recorded on the job card/repair order. To cost the work and raise invoices
To order parts from the Parts Department and to order sub-contract work
To ensure that all work done and parts used are charged to appropriate accounts
To provide times, hours sold, statistics and budgetary information
To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
To undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required
To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests
To comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures
