Our client is seeking an INTERIM candidate for a 6-month contract, who is ACA-qualified to lead the financial integration of newly acquired businesses and play a key role in shaping the future of our group structure. What You'll Be Doing Drive the acquisition process: Own the plan for acquisitions, from pre-acquisition data gathering to post-completion requirements. Lead finance integration: Seamlessly merge finance functions of new entities, manage hive-ups, and simplify group structures. Ensure accuracy: Review completion accounts and supporting documentation with precision. Month-end mastery: Take charge of accounting for newly acquired entities and designated finance areas. Tax and compliance: Provide key data for corporation tax reporting and produce regulated reporting returns. Audit involvement: Be fully engaged in external audits, liaising with auditors and resolving queries. Due diligence: Assist with financial and tax due diligence for potential acquisitions. What We're Looking For ACA qualified (from a reputable firm) Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK reporting requirements Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Analytical mindset with top-notch report writing skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query experience is a bonus!)
