We work with domestic customers locally and trade customers across the south. We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic blind installer to join our friendly team. Duties
* Install various types of window treatments, including blinds, shutters and curtains, ensuring excellent fit and functionality.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed during the installation process.
* Work with our customers to provide excellent customer service.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
* Proven relevant experience using hand tools and power tools, knowledge of fixing backgrounds and some DIY experience.
* Excellent attention to detail, quality conscious, with a perfectionist attitude.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Problem-solving abilities to deal with issues that may arise during installations.
* Friendly, customer focussed and professional.
* Positive attitude, self-driven and keen to learn.
* Flexible - some days will be short, some long and business travel will be required.
* Full clean driving license.
* Experience with blinds, shutters and curtains would be advantageous although training will be given.
* CSCS cardholder preferable but not essential.
The post is generally site based and will involve some ladder and scaffold working on occasion.
The role will involve working in schools, police premises and other sensitive areas so the successful candidate will be subject to a CRB check.
Level of pay will be determined by experience. A uniform and a fully equipped Company van will be provided.
