We are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in developing and maintaining our next generation of product
The Role
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering team. You will help design and deliver specialist digital image acquisition products used globally across multiple sectors. You will be involved from concept through to production, helping to bring high‑performance, reliable products to market.

What You Will Be Doing
* Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
* Produce and maintain drawings, BOMs, and production documentation
* Manage 3D libraries for mechanical and PCB design systems
* Support prototyping, testing, and validation
* Collaborate with electronics, production, and quality teams
* Troubleshoot production and field issues
* Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations
* Support suppliers and manufacturing partners
* Lead migration from Solid Edge to SolidWorks
* Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking For
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* 5+ years’ experience designing electro‑mechanical products
* Advanced SolidWorks proficiency
* Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
* Experience with engineering documentation and BOMs
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Experience in computer vision or camera systems
* Exposure to PCB design collaboration (e.g., Altium)
* Regulated industry experience (medical, defence, aerospace)
* Thermal or stress modelling knowledge
* Experience taking products from concept to production
* MRP/BOM version control experience
