Autism Anglia is a well-established independent Charity. We have an exciting opportunity available for an Adult Services Director to ensure an integrated, quality service.As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Adult Services Director will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team for Autism Anglia creating and supporting a caring and inclusive culture.This role is well suited to a senior manager with significant experience working in the Healthcare sector who can offer strong knowledge and strategic implementation for growth of services. Experience working with Autism and Learning Disabilities is essential.Job Title:Adult Services DirectorLocation: East Anglia, Head office located in ColchesterSalary:£60-65,000 per annum,subject to experienceReports to: Chief Executive OfficerAutism Anglia provides ongoing training and supervision, continuing professional development and support as well as an extensive induction on commencement of employment.Adult servicesAutism Anglia's Adult Services provide specialist support to adults aged 18 onwards across Residential, Supported Living, Outreach programmes and opportunity centres. Providing support to those within the autism spectrum some with additional Learning Disabilities. Our holistic approach encourages adults to develop new skills, create opportunities and build confidence to live more independently in the community.The role: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all adult services with a focus on supported living and individuals on the autism spectrumDevelop, implement, and evaluate service delivery models that reflect best practices and emerging trends in autism care and supported livingOversee operational management across multiple sites, ensuring services are safe, responsive, and meet all regulatory and contractual requirementsChampion a culture of continuous improvement, collaborative working, and person-centred careLead on safeguarding, quality assurance, and compliance with CQC standardsFoster strong relationships with local authority bodies, families, stakeholders, and regulatory bodiesManage budgets effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and stability alongside the chief executive and director of financeInspire, support, and develop service managers and frontline teams to deliver high standards of care and supportAct as a strategic partner in developing new services and expanding existing provisionApplications are welcome from Deputy Managers with the following: Hold a degree in social workHold or are working towards your Management and Leadership QualificationSignificant leadership experience in adult social care, particularly in supported living and autism servicesIn-depth expert knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, and neurodiversity, including best practices in care and supportProven track record of managing multi-site services and leading large, diverse teams across multiple locationsThorough understanding of CQC regulatory requirements, safeguarding, and health and social care legislationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and resilience to lead manage, support and motivate staffIt is essential that the successful applicant holds a full driving licence.To ApplyIf you have what it takes to lead, manage and improve the effectiveness of service delivery apply today.If you have a genuine passion for supporting and uplifting others, your outstanding future at Autism Anglia could be moments away.
