W&P Partners Legal Recruitment is partnering with a top-tier international law firm to recruit a Junior Financial Regulatory Lawyer (0–1 PQE) to join its market-leading Financial Institutions Regulatory team in London.
This is a standout opportunity to work on complex UK and EU regulatory and transactional matters for a prestigious client base spanning banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, insurers, fintech's and digital asset companies.
The Role:
* Advise on UK and EU financial regulation, including MiFID II, AIFMD, payments, digital assets, governance, remuneration, and regulatory capital regimes
* Support on complex cross-border M&A transactions in the regulated sector
* Assist clients with regulatory change management and day-to-day compliance advice
* Advise on the development, issuance and distribution of wholesale financial products
* Gain exposure to Web3, crypto and digital asset regulation
* Work closely with high-profile financial institutions, fintech's and market infrastructure providers
Experience
* 0–1 years’ PQE (training seat experience in financial regulation welcomed)
* Strong UK financial regulatory knowledge and interest in non-contentious advisory work
* Experience assisting on regulatory aspects of corporate/M&A transactions is advantageous
* Excellent drafting and written communication skills
* Demonstrates initiative, commercial awareness and readiness to take ownership
* Strong academic track record
