Overview:
This is a proactive role and you will be responsible for responding to incoming enquires and actively targeting our clients non-key account customers to develop new business opportunities within these companies, as well as effectively managing an existing customer base.
You will be responsible for developing a trusted working relationship with our clients customers that will deliver value to their business which will result in the generation of additional Revenue and Gross Profit from products and service sales.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, hardworking, and a trustworthy team player who is self-motivated and independent and will also thrive in a competitive environment. You must be able to manage your time and tasks effectively and you will be expected to work in supporting the team as whole as well as achieving your own personal Key Performance Indicators.
Activities:
1. CDC/Inside Sales and Customer service
2. New Business Development
3. Liaising with the UK AEC and UKIT team in ensuring customer satisfaction
4. Identifying business issues and working with the team on the best way of developing these into a solution that adds value to the customer
5. Generating & maintaining a healthy pipeline of business
6. Developing an understanding of our clients key solution offerings and engaging with customers on how these could benefit their business
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
7. Excellent communication skills are essential along with energy and enthusiasm
8. Curiosity about what the customer does, the problems they are experiencing along with good questioning and investigation skills
9. Confident in the use of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
10. Ability to multitask and perform well in pressure situations
11. Attention to detail is a must when undertaking any instruction
12. Ability to embrace and present new and emerging technologies to clients
13. Experience of using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution
14. Time Management & Planning skills
15. Creativity and logical problem-solving skills
16. Strong numeracy and literacy skills
17. Self motivated and ambitious
18. Ability to work remotely and in an office and engage using platforms such as MS Teams
19. Experience of selling in a technical/technology environment – desirable but not essential
