Job Summary

Are you passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey? We're looking for a dedicated Assessment and Engagement Worker to join our community drug and alcohol service in New Milton on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract.

In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals accessing support, conducting comprehensive assessments, and engaging them in tailored interventions that promote long-term recovery. You'll work closely with individuals, families, and partner agencies to ensure people receive the right support at the right time.

Main duties of the job

* Conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals accessing the service.
* Develop and implement person-centred recovery plans.
* Complete risk assessments and create effective risk management plans.
* Provide harm reduction interventions and brief interventions.
* Meet and greet service users, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver holistic support.
* Promote visible recovery and encourage engagement in the recovery community
* Support individuals to access appropriate services and interventions.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). We provide caring and effective services across England, including, West Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, West Mercia, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thurrock, Essex. * Accredited Drug and Alcohol Practitioner, or a willingness to work towards accreditation during employment with Inclusion
