Contracts Manager
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Contracts Manager based in Nottingham. This role is on a 6-month contract basis and is mainly remote, with occasional on-site attendance.

We're working with a public‑sector focused organisation undergoing a period of transformation, including the implementation of a newly developed contract management system. This is a key support role within the contract management function, offering the opportunity to play a hands‑on part in improving governance, compliance, and data quality across the organisation.
Role
This role is for a detail‑driven Contracts Manager who is comfortable working with limited direction and ready to make an immediate impact. You'll support the management, capture, and maintenance of contract information within a new contract management system and will be responsible for:
* Capturing and inputting accurate contract data into the contract management system
* Ensuring compliance with local contract management policies and procedures
* Supporting best practice in contract management, with awareness of the Procurement Act 2023
* Maintaining and updating the local contract register to reflect awarded contracts
* Recording and publishing notices on Contract Finder and Find a Tender Service
* Supporting colleagues with the use and understanding of contract management systems
Individual
We're looking for people who can demonstrate:
* Proven experience in contract management or a closely related role
* Strong understanding of contract management systems and processes
* Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
* Knowledge of public sector procurement and compliance requirements
* High levels of attention to detail and well‑developed analytical skills
* A self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently and stay focused
