Mechanical Site Manager - Central London
£80m Turnover M&E Contractor | Commercial Projects up to £15m M&E
£300/350 p/d (CIS/Ltd) or £65/70k + Package
TLG are currently working with a well-established £80m turnover M&E contractor who specialise in delivering commercial projects across London, with individual M&E packages up to £15m. Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their team.
The Opportunity
This role will initially involve closing out a high-profile commercial project in Central London over a 4-month period. Following successful completion, you will move onto further secured commercial projects across Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking contractor with a strong reputation in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment market.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical package on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing mechanical subcontractors and site labour
Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are met
Maintaining high health & safety standards
Overseeing installation quality across HVAC, pipework, and plant
Coordinating with other trades and the main contractor
Managing commissioning, snagging, and handover
Ensuring all RAMS, permits, and site documentation are compliant
Requirements
Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ / HNC in Mechanical or Building Services)
SMSTS or SSSTS certification
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Mechanical Supervisory or Site Management role
Proven track record delivering commercial M&E projects
Ideally experience within commercial fit-out (CAT A / CAT B) environments
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services
Ability to lead teams and drive works to completion
