About the Role
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Role Overview: The Bid Analyst is responsible for gathering, eliciting, analysing, documenting and managing requirements for bids. Reporting to the Technical Presale Manager you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and the bid requirements and processes, ensuring that these are translated into formats suitable for solution architects and developers to build specifications, design and application configurations. You will produce, scope, map processes and prepare functional and technical specification documents using in‑house methods and tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation and documentation skills are required.
Key Responsibilities
* Build relationships with stakeholders to understand, define and document requirements.
* Proactively manage stakeholder expectations of requirements against scope of the project.
* Define success criteria upfront and establish mechanisms for acceptance of requirements.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records, preparing and presenting material to stakeholders of a high quality.
* Contribute to overall risk management and identify project‑specific risks.
* Elicit, translate, simplify and prioritise requirements.
* Assist with business case production.
* Support all business activities within the end‑to‑end bid delivery such as workshops, UAT and training.
* Support testing and implementation activities.
* Exercise independent judgment, reasonable care, skill and diligence when carrying out duties.
* Act in good faith and promote long‑term success of the company.
* Adhere to and promote the Group’s policies on equality & diversity, information security, health and safety and data protection, and manage the people reporting into them.
* Support and promote sustainability plans and policies, carrying out duties in a resource‑effective way, recognising the shared responsibility of minimising negative environmental impacts wherever possible.
Qualifications
Must have a good standard of education and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in requirement gathering processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle and software development process, are essential. A proven track record of delivering within the project environment, preferably within a multi‑project programme, is highly desirable.

Experience
* Bid Analyst experience in a business environment and IT projects.
* A proven track record of delivering successful business analysis for bids.
* Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in requirement gathering processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle.
* Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite.
* Demonstrable strong written, presentation, communication and negotiation skills to articulate complex solutions.
* Experience of complex IT implementations with multiple integration points to external applications.
