About you
* Previous experience in a Claims Handler role, ideally with broker or insurer backgrounds
* Knowledge of the end-to-end claims process and insurance cover basics
* Strong organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in systems like Acturis or Open GI being advantageous
* Motivated to deliver outstanding customer service and professional to handle queries confidently
* Satisfy all pre-employment checks, including criminal records and credit
What you'll do
* Manage a variety of claims including motor, household, commercial, liability, and personal injury
* Accurately process claims from notification to settlement, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients
* Provide expert advice on policy coverage and loss mitigation
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure claims are handled efficiently
* Identify complex or high-value claims and elevate appropriately
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, company policies, and best practices
* Support the preparation of management reports and handle customer queries with professionalism
