Key Responsibilities
* Provide a visible deterrence to customers and staff.
* Respond to incidents and complete incident reports.
* Collaborate with local authorities and management.
* Carry out all guarding responsibilities whilst in store, including patrolling the shop floor to deter criminal activity.
* Assess and identify vulnerabilities and work proactively to minimise risk.
* Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy to avoid distress.
* Complete colleague and contractor searches in line with company policy.
* Digitally report incidents and use tablets or phones for daily activity planning.
* Produce detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities.
Location & Working Hours
Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom (NN8 2EF)
40 hours per week; shift pattern Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat 11:00‑19:00 (variable).

Requirements & Qualifications
Must hold a valid SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence.
Previous retail security experience is an advantage but full training will be provided.
Provide a full 5‑year work history (or back‑to‑school history) and bring right‑to‑work documents and proof of address to the interview.
