Your Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in helping children grow both academically and emotionally by:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
* Supporting teachers in adapting lessons and classroom activities to suit different learning styles.
* Delivering targeted interventions to boost academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing.
* Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning.
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Experienced in working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting.
* Patient, resilient, and proactive with a positive attitude.
* A strong communicator who works well as part of a team.
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
* In possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
