Job Title: General Farm Worker – Beef Unit Location: Devon Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Reports to: Farm Manager About the Role We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Farm Worker to join a progressive beef unit managing approximately 1,500 cattle. The role offers a varied workload across all aspects of beef production and would suit someone with strong livestock handling skills and a proactive approach to farm work. Key Responsibilities * Daily care of cattle, including feeding, bedding, and monitoring livestock health and welfare. * Assisting with calving, weaning, and general herd management. * Routine stock checks and accurate record keeping. * Cleaning and maintaining housing, yards, and equipment. * Operating farm machinery (tractors, telehandlers, feeders, etc.) safely and efficiently. * Supporting veterinary and technical staff when required. * Assisting with maintenance of fencing, water systems, and general farm infrastructure. * Adhering to health, safety, and biosecurity standards at all times.
