About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking qualified and experienced HLTAs to work across a range of primary schools throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. We are looking for dedicated professionals who can deliver high-quality support to pupils and teachers, and who thrive in a dynamic school environment.
As an HLTA, you will:
* Provide targeted support to groups and individual pupils
* Lead lessons and deliver pre-planned sessions in the absence of the class teacher
* Assist with assessment, planning, and classroom management
* Support pupils with additional learning needs (SEN) where required
* Contribute to creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent Level 4/5 qualification)
* Experience working in UK schools (essential)
* A solid understanding of the national curriculum and classroom practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to travel to different school locations when required
* A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
