Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (Wills, Trusts, LPAs & Estate Administration)
Location: Kettering
Salary: £55,000 to £75,000
Experience: 5+ years PQE (guide)
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a well-established private client team in Kettering.
This is a key hire into a busy and growing department, offering high-quality work, a strong existing client base, and the chance to play a supportive leadership role within the team.
The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will manage a varied private client caseload, likely to include:
* Wills and estate planning
* Probate and estate administration
* Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
* Inheritance Tax planning
* Trust creation and administration
In addition to running your own files, you will:
* Support and supervise junior members of the team
* Provide technical guidance to colleagues
* Help maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
* Work closely with the Head of Team and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
* Ideally 5+ years PQE (as a guide, flexibility considered)
* Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, estate administration, IHT and trusts
* Confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
* Organised, commercially aware and approachable
* Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
* STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
