Kingston Barnes are recruiting a senior manufacturing engineer for a client of ours in the Bristol area.The Role:As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, youll play a pivotal role in the development and launch of new components into production and managing the product development process. You will work closely with CNC programmers, production staff, and suppliers to ensure processes are reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the NPI processIdentify areas of improvement and mitigate risks during the product development process, including potential issues with the manufacturing processDevelop and improve current manufacturing processesDevelop and maintain documentation, including process maps, routings, and work instructionsProvide technical support to other departments when requiredDeputise for the Engineering Manager when requiredAbout you:Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and components in the aerospace industryStrong background in Milling/TurningNPI Management with knowledge of APQPExperience with quality management systems including ISO9001 and AS9100.Experience with process design, optimization, and improvementStrong understanding FMEA methodologiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of ERP/MRP systemsFamiliar with 5S and lean principles with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing settingBenefitsSalary up to £55,00037-hour week: MondayThursday 07:3016:00, Friday 07:3012:3025 days holiday + bank holidaysHealth cash plan2x salary death in service benefitPension schemeIf you are interested, please call Josh Hoyle on 0117 325 2233 or apply online*Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position**Sponsorship is not available*TPBN1_UKTJ
