You will be responsible for ensuring that all Engineering Operational activities within the building and the contract are controlled andthattheyarebeingcarriedoutwithdueregardtoHealthandSafety,businessriskandmaintainingthe100% uptime criteria. ResponsibleformaintainingexcellentstandardsofresponsetoAssetperformance,completionofassignedwork and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently. TheEMEA technical supervisor will be a keypositiontooverseethecoordinationofalloperationsvisitorstotheMacquariepremises. You will be responsible to coordinate work permits to the Specialist Service Providers (SSP) and to escalate where necessary approval of permits that can affect the business-critical systems. You will closely monitor the Risk Assessments and Supplier activities on the campus and ensure they follow current H&S legislation. This position will also monitor the closure of the permits and provide the business with an 'end of business report' of outstanding permits. Scheduling, closing off PPM's and entering reactive works to the planned preventative maintenance system will also be part of the position. It is the technical supervisors role to act as a coordination point for the day-to-day activities, on site, of the Operations Team, specialist service partners, site contacts and other support teams, ensuring that conduct of all personnel under your control is safe, professional, and conscientious. You will also be responsible to oversee the Safe Systems of Work, enforce Health and Safety legislation guidelinesforthesitesandtoupdate,whennecessary,theriskassessmentsassociatedforanywork-relatedmaintenance routines on site. YourroleensuresQualityAssuranceauditproceduresfortheengineers'tools,ladders,equipment,PPEand regular checks and inspections are completed. ReportingtotheEMEA Technical manageryouwillcontroland deliver PPM,smallextra &projectworkswithintheEMEA estatewhichincludemoves/changes,planned maintenanceandliaisonwithsub-contractors in region. Key Tasks Duties to include: ResponsibleformanagingandcontrollingthePermitsystemsandsafesystemsofworkfortheEMEA offices. MonitorthePPMsystemandtoupdate plantrecordsandassetsasandwhen required. Toensurecurrenthealthandsafetylegislationiscarriedoutonsite. Toassist,produceandconstructthecurrentRiskAssessments,whichareusedthroughoutall Macquarie facilities/sites. Toensurequalityismaintainedthroughoutthefacilities AllocatePPMtaskstolocal regionsengineeringteams where required. Operateallsystemswithinthebuildingsinacompetent,effective,andefficientmanner Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: fire/lifesafety,mechanical(HVAC,plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, switchgear), lighting and temperature controls systems, critical environments, construction (painting, doors, locks) and control systems (firealarm,lightingcontrol,BMS).Utilizestaffandcontractingwithoutsidevendorsasnecessary. Controllingallactivitiesbeingundertakenwithinthecampusbuildings.LiaisingwiththeSitePersonnelto make them aware of Specialist Service Provider visits prepare and have approved Standard Operating Procedures/PTW in advance of these visits. EnsurethatSpecialistServiceProvider(SSP)worksheetsaresignedoffwherenecessarythatqualityofwork has been inspected and recommendations are escalated to the Contract ManagementTeam. Ensureanypartsrequiredareclearlyandaccuratelystatedandanydifficultiesencounteredonengineering activities are reported to the Lead technical manager or Contract Support. EnsuretheSSP'scomplywiththecontractualservicelevelagreements(SLA's). Operationandtroubleshootingforthefollowing: BuildingManagementSystems on sites where applicable. LightingControlSystem where installed. HVAC. Airconditioningsystems,FCUs. UPSsystemandassociatedcontrolsystems. Emergencylighting. ToliaisewiththesiteoperationalteamandbeawareofallSSP'svisits,haveapprovedstandardoperating procedures, risk assessments and work permits inadvance. Ensurethatserviceprovidersworksheetsaresignedoff,qualityofworksareinspected,andany recommendations/problems areescalated. Personal Attributes: Minimum10years'experienceinBuildingServicesindustry C&GPts.1&2,equivalentorexceeds. 18thEditionIEE:WiringandInstallation. C&G2391testandinspection(preferred). Strongcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytodealwithalllevelsof staff. Demonstrateagoodunderstandingandbetechnicallycompetentinallbuildingservices,inparticularUPS, Static Switches, HVAC, Water Treatment, Refrigeration andAir Conditioning.
