This role is based at our Netherley facility near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, a key hub for our turbine operations and customer support.
Your Role:
As a Fitter, you'll be responsible for the hands-on repair and overhaul of gas turbines, power turbines, and associated equipment. You'll work as part of a skilled workshop team, ensuring high standards of engineering, safety, and documentation throughout the build process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strip, inspect, sub-assemble, and rebuild turbine components.
* Accurately record critical measurements and report non-conformances.
* Maintain clean and organised workstations, ensuring tooling and chemicals are stored correctly.
* Complete all build documentation and submit for review.
* Support apprentice training and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.
* Input working hours into company systems and assist with non-conformance reporting.
What You'll Bring:
* Previous experience in a similar workshop or engineering role.
* Knowledge of gas turbine repair and refurbishment (advantageous).
* Experience in fabrication, repair, or construction environments.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* A team-oriented, adaptable approach.
