Job Title: Clinical Director (Across All Branches) Location: Rutland and Kings Veterinary Centre, Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (Depending on experience) Hours: Full-time working over 4 or 5 days per week. The Team Rutland and Kings Veterinary Centre operate as a collaborative, community-focused group practice. Alongside our RCVS-accredited hospital in Uppingham, we have accredited branches in Corby, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, and Syston. We are proud to provide on-site emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year plus our New State-of-the-Art Hospital including CT, Opening May 2026. You will be supported by a dedicated administrative team — including HR, Health & Safety, and finance — enabling you to focus on strategic clinical leadership and service excellence across all branches. What We’re Looking For A highly experienced Clinical Director with a proven track record of leading multi-site or complex veterinary operations. Demonstrable experience in clinical governance, compliance, and quality improvement across multiple teams. A leader who sets and upholds exceptional standards of clinical care and client service across all branches. Strong experience in strategic decision-making and operational collaboration, working closely with Practice Management. A confident mentor who actively develops senior veterinary surgeons and emerging leaders. Advanced clinical expertise with excellent diagnostic and decision-making capabilities. The ability to oversee performance, manage change, and maintain team engagement in a fast-paced environment. A visible, approachable leader who fosters a cohesive, positive, and high-performing culture across all sites.
