Are you a B5 ready for a B6 role or a B6 looking to change careers? This opportunity allows you to join a friendly, dynamic and evolving therapy team at Good Hope Hospital, part of UHB.
Position summary
You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team supporting patients to return home as soon as possible by providing timely and regular therapy interventions, maximising their chances of staying at home. You will be working in both the Healthcare of Older People (HCOP) and Short Stay teams, with specific days confirmed upon appointment.
Responsibilities
* Provide therapeutic assessment, management and treatment of patients in variety of specialties within the acute hospital setting, focusing interventions on a wide range of clinical cases.
* Facilitate discharge to the home or to other care pathways.
* Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and maintain associated records.
* Assist with supervision, education and co‑ordination of generic Therapy Support Workers and Junior therapists.
* Participate in seven days working.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
* Experience in a broad range of therapy teams/clinical areas.
* Excellent communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
* Experience working effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
