Senior Technical Business Analyst – Lloyd's Market Insurer | paying up £110,000 depending on experience.
The Role
My client is a leading Lloyd's Market insurer as a Business Systems Analyst, to work on large scale transformation programmes UW / PAS systems delivering projects from feasibility to implementation. You'll bridge business and technology, working with stakeholders, developers and internal teams to design solutions, improve processes, and support delivery across the full insurance lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and optimise insurance systems to client specifications.
* Translate business requirements into project documentation and solutions.
* Produce feasibility reports, proposals, and MIS reports (Crystal, MS Report Builder).
* Build and use SQL
queries to report on and update databases.
* Lead testing schedules, implementations, and user training.
* Liaise with clients, developers, and stakeholders to ensure compatibility and satisfaction.
* Stay up to date with industry and technology developments.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle (Lloyd's/London Market experience preferred).
* Proficient in SQL and database applications.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management ability.
* Able to work autonomously, take ownership, and meet deadlines.
