Job Responsibilities
1. Supporting adoption of MATLAB and Simulink by analysing customers' requirements, guiding product evaluations, and creating proof of concepts.
2. Identifying new trends and collaborating with the worldwide team to develop compelling messages and demonstrations.
3. Advocating for the future direction of MathWorks products.
4. Providing expertise with Simulink and Model-Based Design.
5. Applying expertise in mathematical and first-principles modelling and simulation of physical systems and control laws.
6. Engaging in software development in C or C++ for real-time and embedded applications.
7. Developing software tools for engineering and scientific applications (advantageous).
8. Providing technical consulting and project management.
9. Understanding software certification processes and standards such as DO-178C and ARP 4754.
Additional Information
Most travel will be 1-2 day trips within the UK, with some multi-day trips within Europe. Occasional travel to MathWorks headquarters in the US is also possible.
MathWorks offers a hybrid work model, allowing staff to split their time between office and home, providing both in-person collaboration and flexible at-home work.
