Job Description:
Due to an internal promotion and increased clinical demand as a result of moving to a new outpatient Gynaecology Unit, we have an exciting opportunity for a Gynaecology Nurse Practitioner within NHS Fife’s Queen Margaret Hospital. These are permanent posts, with both part-time and full-time hours available.
This post involves working within the outpatient area, providing nurse-led care to women requiring Gynaecology assessment, investigation, and treatment.
As a Nurse Practitioner, the post holder will work autonomously to deliver specialist clinical care tailored to patient needs. They will collaborate closely with other nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team to develop nursing care programs for individual patients and the broader patient group.
Applicants must be NMC Registered Nurses, educated to degree level, with post-registration experience in Gynaecology. Gynaecology assessment skills and non-medical prescriber qualifications are required. Enthusiasm, excellent teamwork, and effective communication skills are essential.
Please note that the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours if applicable.
A requirement of this role is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
