Salary up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience Opportunity to earn performance bonuses through a generous workshop scheme Overtime available for added earning potential Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm, with no weekend or shift work Future training and development, including MOT and electric vehicle (EV) qualifications Participation in the workplace pension scheme 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) plus your birthday off Free gym membership 20% staff discount scheme A friendly, professional working environment in a modern facility Main duties of the Vehicle Technician include: Diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles, primarily light commercial vehicles and cars Performing routine servicing and repairs to meet company standards Conducting MOT tests (if holding a valid MOT licence) Accurately diagnosing faults and reporting vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance to management Ensuring all work complies with health and safety procedures Responding to vehicle breakdowns on occasional basis Maintaining high standards of workmanship under busy workshop conditions Specifications: Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Ideally, 1-2 years practical experience as a Vehicle Technician Valid UK driving licence with minimal points Strong team player with a dedicated attitude Capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Motivated to meet targets and maintain safety standards Additional experience in fleet repairs, welding, or fabrication is highly advantageous An active MOT licence is desirable but non-essential This Vehicle Technician role offers a fantastic career opportunity with a supportive employer committed to your ongoing training and development.
