Position Objective:
The Regional Sales Manager will execute sales strategies, manage external sales teams, and drive growth within the assigned region, focusing on gas turbine filtration and related energy markets.
Key Accountabilities:
* Focus on East Coast Region (Maine to Florida) end users and distributors.
* Achieve sales objectives, develop action plans, and analyze market trends.
* Forecast sales, prepare budgets, and manage expenditures.
* Develop customer data and competitive insights; manage sales data via CRM.
* Create and implement regional sales plans aligned with national goals.
* Build and maintain customer relationships; identify new business opportunities.
* Identify new product opportunities and monitor market trends.
* Enhance knowledge through professional development and networking.
* Support organizational sales and growth objectives.
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical, industrial) or 5+ years of experience in energy sales.
* At least 2 years of technical sales or filtration experience.
* Knowledge of airflow and filtration systems.
* Experience in sales channel development and management.
* Comfort with public speaking and virtual presentations.
* Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), MS Office.
* Mechanical aptitude and experience with gas turbines, power generation, or oil & gas markets.
* Demonstrated ability to promote diversity and inclusion.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
