Assistant Educator – Nursery Education

Compensation
£26,437 – £26,957 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos and N Curriculum with care and flair.
* Follow daily routine and ensure smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
* Support planning of innovative, challenging learning experiences that encourage child development.
* Support with high‑quality observations, assessments, and planning for key children.
* Help supervise mealtimes in line with N’s safety policies.
* Complete daily health & safety checks thoroughly, escalating concerns where needed.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with parents.
* Embed all policies and procedures into daily practice.
* Keep every area clean and tidy throughout the day.
* Help with day‑to‑day tasks that keep the nursery running smoothly.
Qualifications & Experience
* No prior experience required; genuine passion for education and support for children’s development.
* Willingness to complete full induction and pursue further training, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Child Protection, and opportunities to gain a Level 2/3 Early Years qualification.
* Positive, “glass‑half‑full” outlook and high energy.
* Motivated, customer‑service oriented and a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
