This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Fire & Security Engineer looking for a stable, rewarding role with a well-established and supportive business. You’ll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, and small works across a variety of sites, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering quality work and supporting clients with their fire and security systems.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, fault-finding, and small installation works on fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems.

Respond to reactive maintenance calls and diagnose system faults.
*
Ensure all work is carried out in line with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
*
Communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service.
*
Maintain accurate records of completed works and update job management systems.
*
Collaborate with office and management teams to ensure efficient job scheduling and completion.
*
Assist with mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
Ideal Candidate Profile
*
At least 2+ years’ experience in the fire and security industry.
*
Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder systems, CCTV, and access control.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Positive attitude with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
*
Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
