Job Title: KS2 Teaching Assistant (TA)

Rate: £90 – £110+ per day (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience in Key Stage 2? GSL Education are currently recruiting for a KS2 TA to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Nottinghamshire. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping children grow academically and socially during their crucial junior years.
About the Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing. You’ll assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide focused support, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support aligned with KS2 learning objectives
* Assist with literacy, numeracy, and topic-based activities
* Support classroom routines and promote positive behaviour
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Track pupil progress and communicate feedback to staff and parents
Requirements
* Experience supporting KS2 pupils in a school setting
* Solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A nurturing and proactive approach to education
* Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable
