- THE ROLE -
The post holder will assist the Principal Investigator in overseeing the EU Coastal Monitoring and Adaptation Planning (CMAP) project and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the project.
CMAP is a €9.6M cross-border project, led by Ulster University, and supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project will help create sustainable adaptation to the threats posed by climate change and provide decision-makers and stakeholders at the coast with information on the nature of coastal change.
The post will be of interest to individuals with excellent organisational and management skills. We are keen to hear from self-motivated candidates who have experience in project management who can produce clear, well-written reports and papers, with good communication skills to engage effectively with a wide range of professionals and agencies.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to have:
- Hold a Degree in a relevant subject.
- Evidence of substantial experience in project management, including monitoring and control of financial budget/s.
- Evidence of ability to work with a wide range of professionals and agencies.
