We're Teapot a brand growth agency where creativity meets strategy and ideas turn into impact. We are on the lookout for an experienced SEO who's as confident in content architecture as they are explaining entity-based search to a client.
This role sits within our Marketing team and reports to the Head of Marketing. You'll take the lead on all things SEO; technical, content, GEO, AEO, and CRO while collaborating with our designers, developers, and strategists to make client campaigns sing across the funnel.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead technical and content SEO for client websites (mostly WordPress and eCommerce).
* Plan and implement location-based (GEO) and entity-focused (AEO) strategies.
* Helping run and optimise PPC campaigns on Google.
* Set up and manage website data layers using GA4, GTM, and GSC. Clean data, clear insights.
* Perform UX and CRO audits, then translate findings into action.
* Deliver reports that connect dots, not just show graphs.
* A/B test, heatmap, and user-journey experience to provide smarter optimisation.
* Be client-facing, presenting recommendations with clarity and confidence.
* Stay on top of changes in search, user behaviour, and platform updates.
What we're after:
* 3+ years in a dedicated SEO/digital marketing role.
* Proven experience in both technical and content SEO.
* Solid grasp of GEO-targeting, AEO, and structured data.
* Competent with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog and your preferred stack.
* Fluent in GA4, GTM, GSC and Looker Studio.
* Smart with data and insights.
* Comfortable presenting to clients and giving training when needed.
* Some PPC experience would be a bonus (but we've got your back if it's not your sweet spot).
* A strategic brain with a collaborative way of working.
* Full clean driving licence is required with own vehicle as the office is not on public transport.
* Able to come into the office a minimum of two days a week plus as and when required for meetings etc.
Nice to haves:
* Understanding of social SEO, especially for LinkedIn and YouTube.
* Conversion copywriting skills.
* Experience optimising international sites.
* An eye for CRO testing methodology.
