Role: Electronics design engineer
Location: Northampton and must be able to drive
Experience: 2-3 years approx.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Benefits: We offer a 5% pension, 4 x salary ‘Death in Service’ & 25 days holiday plus bank holidays = 33 annually.
My client based in Northampton are looking to hire an electronics design engineer with 2-3 years approx. experience, you must British passport holder or lived in the UK with residential status for 5 years + due to the nature of their work.
Responsibilities:
* Design and development of a variety of hardware products including analogue and digital designs.
* First article testing of designs and investigation and resolution of any hardware issues
* Schematic design and PCB layout, including component level footprint design. Ideally proficient with Altium PCB design tools
Key Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related subject
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an equivalent role.
* Digital circuit design including micro-processors, FPGA’s and associated high speed peripherals.
* Analogue circuit design such as power supplies
* Ability to fit into a close knit working community.
