Finance Officer c£32k (pro rata for part time)
Due to expansion, The Belsteads Group are looking for an experienced Finance Officer - we will consider part time either 3 / 4 full days or spread across the whole week (minimum 24 hrs pw)
This role will be to oversee the finances of our 3 x children's homes near Chelmsford, and will primarily be working from home (after training period) with occasional visits to site for meetings etc.
The role:
* Sales & Purchase Ledgers
* Manage monthly payroll (80+ staff and growing) and all related tasks
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparation of financial reports
* Liaising with Management Accountant
* Providing required information to HMRC
* Monitor and track expenditure inline with budgetary constraints
* Working closely with Director, Finance Manager, Operations Manager and internal colleagues in the homes when needed
Experience/person:
* Sage Payroll Business Cloud
* Xero Accounting
* Excel proficiency
* Solid experience in a similar role
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
