We're proud to be representing a fast-growing, modern Accountancy Practice in Greater Manchester that is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior / Book-Keeper to join their expanding team.
Location: Walking distance from Metrolink, train station & central bus station
Essential: Minimum 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
Preparing statutory accounts and VAT returns
Planning and overseeing client compliance work
Managing workflow and meeting strict deadlines
Supporting and mentoring trainees
Assisting in team management and development
Liaising with clients and external bodies including HM Revenue and Customs
Reporting to Senior Managers and contributing to meetings
About You
AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
At least 2 years' UK practice experience (essential)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident managing multiple deadlines
