Early Years Practitioner – School Nursery, Byker
Full-Time Position
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner looking to make a positive impact in a school nursery setting? We are seeking a caring and motivated practitioner to join a welcoming primary school nursery in Byker.
About the Role:
You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within the school nursery. Working closely with the nursery team, you will help deliver high-quality early education in line with the EYFS and contribute to a warm, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

Your Responsibilities:
* Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Providing high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS
* Promoting a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (school nursery experience desirable)
* Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* A caring, committed, and reliable attitude
* Paediatric First Aid is desirable but not essential
* A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
