Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Heavy Equipment Technician looking for your next career move?
We're recruiting on behalf of a major UK construction machinery dealership known for its world‑class service, technical excellence, and industry‑leading equipment range.
If you're skilled in plant diagnostics, servicing, and repairs and want to work with premium machinery this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on heavy plant, construction, and agricultural machinery
* Hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical fault‑finding using laptop diagnostics
* Breakdown and planned servicing at customer sites
* Professional communication and support with customers to deliver first‑time fixes
* Promotion of parts and service solutions to strengthen customer relationships
You'll work independently within your region, supported by a professional service team and manufacturer training.
What You'll Need
* NVQ Level 2 or higher in Plant / Construction / Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent)
* Proven experience on construction plant, heavy line, or material handling equipment
* Strong knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, axles, and CAN‑bus electrical systems
* Confident working with excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, loading shovels, or diggers
* Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
* Customer‑focused attitude with strong self‑motivation

* Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer / Heavy Plant Technician / Agricultural Engineer / Construction Equipment Mechanic / Mobile Service Technician / HGV Fitter (Plant experience preferred)
