Overview
Provide daily support for 4 hours in a private household. The role is for a reliable, positive, proactive nanny who enjoys being organised, engaging in children's routines and development, and working collaboratively with the mother.
Responsibilities
* Provide support with school runs (occasionally).
* Prepare hearty warm family meals.
* Prepare for the next day’s routine and help with light family administration.
* Assist with children's laundry and keep wardrobes organised.
* Manage the calm, supportive, and structured evening routine when children return from school at 5 pm.
* Provide additional babysitting as needed.
* Support family activities such as walking, cycling, and outdoor time, and encourage creativity, crafts, and learning through play.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum experience: working in private households.
* Up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
* 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
* At least two professional referees, including the current or last employer; referees must be immediately contactable.
* Optionally, professional nanny insurance.
* Own car; driving required.
Schedule and Compensation
* Hours of work: 4 hours per day.
* Days:
o Monday 6:45 am–11:00 am
o Tuesday 3:00 pm–7:00 pm
o Wednesday 6:45 am–11:00 am
o Thursday 3:00 pm–7:00 pm
* Start date: August 2026.
* Pay: £20 gross per hour. Permanent position.

The children are twins, aged 7 and 5.
