Role Overview
This is a hybrid account management and business development role. The position requires a commercially minded and relationship focused account manager who can retain and grow existing clients while also supporting new business generation.
The role involves owning a client portfolio end to end, identifying growth opportunities, requesting referrals and actively supporting pipeline development. It is suited to someone who enjoys balancing account management with business development in a fast growing technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management and Client Success
1. Own and grow client relationships to secure renewals and long term partnerships
2. Build trusted relationships through regular communication strong commercial awareness and high quality delivery
3. Manage client enquiries and resolve issues quickly to maintain high satisfaction
4. Visit clients on site when required to strengthen relationships and understand their needs
5. Communicate account and site changes to internal teams and support implementation
Business Development and Revenue Growth
6. Identify and deliver upsell opportunities within existing client accounts
7. Recommend additional products or services based on client needs and usage
8. Request referrals introductions and testimonials to support pipeline growth
9. Support outbound activity including contacting prospective clients where required
10. Qualify opportunities through discovery conversations and support handover to sales teams
11. Work with sales and commercial teams on proposals pitches and value propositions
12. Support the development and maintenance of a healthy sales pipeline in the customer relationship management system
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience and Skills
13. Three to five years experience in account management customer success or sales
14. Experience managing client portfolios and supporting retention
15. Comfortable working in a commercial environment with responsibility for upselling and renewals
16. Experience supporting business development activity including outreach referrals and pipeline building
17. Confident communicating with clients and prospects by phone
18. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence clients and internal teams
19. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
20. Experience using customer relationship management systems and maintaining accurate data
Preferred Experience
21. Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue retention or upsell targets
22. Experience in technology parking mobility real estate or hospitality sectors
23. Comfortable starting conversations with new prospects and building relationships
