About The Role
As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse, you will lead, support and continuously improve the clinical governance and quality of care across 10 care homes located in Stanwell, Bushey, Hampstead, Chalfont St Peter, Islington, Chorleywood, Enfield, High Wycombe and Harrow.
Responsibilities
* Support each home to perform to the highest clinical standards.
* Review the clinical governance database and KPIs monthly, analysing results and identifying practical strategies to ensure all regulatory requirements are met and the care delivered is continually improved.
* Collaborate closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists and senior clinical staff in each home to implement key actions that address arising issues, whether through organising training, helping attract senior clinical staff or delivering clinical investigations.
* Provide consistent support for the continual improvement of standards and implement improvement actions across the region.
* Travel regularly within the region as required.
About You
* Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development and a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
* Experience working in a care home environment, confident as a clinical mentor, including with newly-qualified nurses.
* Leadership skills, sharp analytical mind and the ability to share knowledge, build relationships and deliver on action plans to achieve impressive results.
