Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity available for a self-motivated and reliable Site Traffic Controller person to support our busy team based at our HQ Warehouse in Halesowen. This is a temporary, fixed-term contract for 6 months. About the Site Traffic Controller role: As our Site Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for safely directing and guiding vehicles and deliveries on and around site, ensuring safe movement in our busy yard and loading areas, and helping to prevent accidents or damage. We currently have building work ongoing at the site, which faces heavy restrictions on movement of traffic, space and different flows. The ideal candidate will be a steady-headed person who takes pride in keeping people safe. You’ll enjoy working outdoors, communicating clearly with a range of people, and staying organised even when things get busy. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, you’ll be a great fit. Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. 8:00am – 17:00pm, with a 1 hour break. There are opportunities for paid overtime when required. Key responsibilities as our Site Traffic Controller: Direct and guide vehicle movements safely within the yard or loading area. Communicate clearly with drivers. Maintain clear and safe access routes for vehicles and pedestrians. Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to coordinate flow. Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all health and safety guidelines. Remain vigilant and focused in a fast-paced working environment. What we're looking for in our Site Traffic Controller: Trained and certified as a Banksman/Yard Marshal (desirable). FLT licence (desirable). Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment (desirable). Team player. Good communication skills. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
