We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive who shares our passion for literature and wants to help us bring our authors to readers everywhere. What You'll Be Doing
This is a varied and exciting role that blends creativity with strategy:
* Telling our story
– designing imaginative campaigns, writing engaging copy and creating beautiful content to share with readers.
* Building our community
– growing Saqi's digital presence, managing social media, newsletters and influencer outreach, and finding new ways to connect with audiences worldwide.
* Supporting our sales
– working with agents and key accounts, preparing assets and helping to ensure our books reach as many readers as possible.
* Representing Saqi
– at book fairs, trade shows and industry events, as well as in your daily conversations with authors, booksellers and partners.
No two days are the same. You'll be working closely with colleagues across editorial, design and sales, helping to shape how our books are seen and celebrated.
What We're Looking For
* Experience running book marketing campaigns (ideally in trade publishing).
* Confidence with social media, community management and influencer outreach.
* Strong writing skills – you can turn your hand to persuasive copy, lively newsletters and snappy social posts.
* A flair for design, with knowledge of Adobe, Canva or similar tools a bonus.
* A balance of creativity and commercial thinking – you know how to capture attention and how to measure impact.
* A genuine love of books, publishing and cultural exchange.
* Knowledge of the MENA region's culture and literature would be a welcome plus.
