The Marsham Court Hotel has been making huge developments over the last few years, making it one of the most accessible and inclusive venues in the UK. As our Junior Commis Chef you will:
* Work within an established team to deliver delicious food
* Be keen to learn new skills and develop your food repertoire
* Have an eye for detail to deliver consistency across all dishes
* Show a passion for food and pride in what you serve
* Take on some Kitchen Porter shifts as part of your working week
* Help our Head Chef to maintain an immaculate five star hygiene rated kitchen
We are looking for people with the desire to learn and grow in an environment that encourages you to use your flare to deliver amazing experiences for our guests. We even have a dedicated Training & Development Manager focused on mentoring you and giving you the skills you need to succeed in your career, whether that be in hospitality or any other industry.
We can offer full time contracts and we are busy all year round so you will be guaranteed hours, even in the winter months. That being said, we believe in a good work/life balance and make sure that our team are well rested between shifts. It is rare that you will work more than a 38-hour week.
We now have live-in positions available in our newly refurbished staff accommodation. All rooms come fully furnished with an en-suite bathroom and three meals catered per day. Some experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but we will give you full training.

* Mental health first aid qualifications for key team members
* An increased social calendar to get our team together more often outside of work
* A partnership with Bourne Free to deliver an event for the elderly LGBTQ+ community
* A huge fundraising event for Dorset Children’s Foundation
