Overview
The faculty of Construction are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Leader to join the well-established Carpentry and Joinery team. This is a fast paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders in providing high quality teaching aged 16 plus, teaching Level 1, 2 and 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.
Responsibilities
* Teaching, facilitating and tracking of learner progress
* Assessment of learner progress against targeted achievement
* Ensuring the provision of high-quality pastoral and supportive care of learners as part of the whole learner journey
* Ensure the provision of highly effective guidance to learners to assist them through their programme and in their progression onto a positive destination, for example higher learning or employment
* Maintain effective management of learners\' programmes, working with other teams as required ensuring a high quality, individualised offer
Person specification / Qualifications
* Level 2 or above qualification in Carpentry & Joinery
* Prior experience working in a construction environment
* Experience of analysing data and writing reports
