Role responsibilities
To define the future-state business and technical capabilities required to successfully integrate a new business, designing solutions that enhance TfW's operational effectiveness and deliver improved public transport experiences in line with Welsh Government policy.
1. Elicit, Analyse, and Manage Requirements: Be accountable for leading the requirements engineering process across multiple workstreams. This icludes facilitating workshops with stakeholders from Asset Management, Finance, and HR, and creating detailed user stories, use cases, and business requirements specifications to ensure solutions meet business needs.
2. Analyse and Model Business Processes: Conduct in-depth analysis of current-state ("as-is") processes and systems within the infrastructure domain. Be responsible for designing and documenting future-state ("to-be") processes and capabilities that support the new, complex operating model.
3. Provide Robust Analysis and Documentation: Develop and maintain key business analysis deliverables throughout the project lifecycle in line with organisational methodologies. This includes, but is not limited to, business cases, requirements documentation, process maps, and traceability matrices
Support Solution Design and Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams, solution architects, and the supply chain to ensure that proposed technical designs and delivered solutions fulfil the business requirements and adhere to best practices.

Who we’re looking for
5. Business Process Expertise: Proven experience in analysing and improving complex business processes, with a strong understanding of operational controls and performance reporting.
6. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:Proficiency in facilitating workshops and using various techniques to capture, analyse, and document business needs and functional requirements.
7. Process Mapping & Design:Ability to document "as-is" processes (using BPMN or similar) and design efficient "to-be" solutions that meet strategic objectives.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence:Experience working with diverse technical and business teams (., IT, Asset Management, Finance) to align solutions with business needs.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
